Fertilization (IVF) technology in the United States, established 2nd
successful
U.S. human IVF program, established new Division of Reproductive
Endocrinology,
built to 3 MD faculty and 4 PhDs in laboratories plus support staff,
wrote
and copyrighted IVF database software.
- Cleveland Clinic Foundation: Developed
first human volunteer egg
donor program (written up in New York Times, presented on CBS
Nightwatch), established new Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and
human IVF program, built program
to 2 MD positions and 3 PhDs in laboratories plus support staff,
established
use of fiber lasers for gynecological (infertility) surgery, developed
proposal
for Reproductive Endocrinology Training Program.
- Mt. Sinai Medical Center:
Re-established Reproductive Endocrine
Division and human IVF program.
- Northeast Regional Center for
Infertility & IVF: Developed
integrated and networked database software that increased the
efficiency of managing medical records, scientific data, billing, and
patient appointments.
- Charter member of the national Society
for Assisted Reproductive
Technology (SART), 3rd President, and 1st Secretary. Provided expert
testimony to U.S.
Congressional Committee concerning IVF results as representative of
SART
and American Fertility Society. Chaired committees, which developed
